iTrucking

Two files a month go in — the dispatch report and the fuel report — and the app counts the rest: what each truck brought in, what it cost, and what the company was left with. When a month is finished it is closed, and its figures are frozen exactly as they were handed out.

Everything below is behind a login, because it is the company's money. Log in to go on.

Where things are

Documents One document per month: what the company earned and what was left of it. Open one to see every truck, and a truck to see the loads and the fuel its figures were added up from. A month is closed — and reopened — from here. Uploads The reports that arrive, version by version. Every upload is one version of that month's document; the newest is the one counted, and the older ones keep their rows. The original file can be opened again, and its columns chosen again. Fleet Every truck, who owns it and from when, what the company pays for it each month and what it is expected to earn. Trucks are added, corrected and retired here, and the whole fleet can be loaded from a spreadsheet or taken back out as one. Drivers What each driver is paid a mile. A rate is an agreement with a date, so a new one never changes a month that has already been counted. Company The four figures that apply to everything when nothing more specific does: the dispatch fee, the admin percentage, the default rate a mile and the revenue plan. Also where a figure is locked against being changed. People Everybody who can sign in. Registration is closed — a person already inside invites the next one by email, and the app can say who has an account and who has never opened their invitation.
